Today, the Mandera Municipality, in collaboration with Equity Bank, planted 2,000 seedlings out of the 5,000 donated by the bank at Mandera Teacher Training College, in line with the manifesto of HE MAK, the Governor of Mandera County, to plant 1 million trees within 5 years.

The occasion was officiated by the County Secretary, Mr. Billow Issak. Also present were CECMs of Health, Roads, Education, and a host of senior members from the executive, as well as national departments such as KFS, NEMA, Equity Bank, National Bank, MTTC, and the Municipality.
